TNR: The Best Way to Help Your Community Cats

The Analysis: What problem does this course solve?

TNR stands for "Trap, Neuter, Return." It is an effective method to prevent the problem of overpopulation of stray and feral cats in a community. When humans are bothered by the existence of too many outdoor cats in the community, some choose to call animal control, but this may lead to the cats' sad fate of being put down at an over-crowded shelter. This course provides the explanation for why TNR is the better option and an overview for anyone wants to be a part of the solution.

The Design: Motivation, How-to, & Difficult Scenario

The course starts with the benefits of TNR for humans, cats, and other animals in the community. It then breaks down the process into step-by-step guidelines that are easier for learners to digest. Finally, the learners go through a common scenario to learn what to do when people in the community are skeptical about the process of TNR.

The Development: Articulate Rise

The project was created in Articulate Rise using various texts, images, and interactive features to keep the learners engaged.
